I met Robin in Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday, August 9th, 1986 in Westport (a neighborhood not far from where I lived on Warwick Blvd). From when we met we were together for 34 years, 7 months, and 10 days. We were married on April 4th, 1987, and just missed being married for 34 years by a couple of weeks.
We would have been married for 34 years on April 4th, 2021. Sadly after a long fight with cancer, she passed on March 19th, 2021. She taught very young children with special needs. When we first met she was teaching hearing impaired children and was fluent in sign language.Our daughter Ellie is currently a sign language interpreter in the Round Rock Independent School District here in Texas.We have two sons, Michael and Patrick (picture with Ellie, Robin and Patrick below). Patrick had served in the Marine Corps when this was taken.Our oldest son Michael on the right in picture below at the Shady Grove restaurant in Austin, Texas.Michael, Patrick, Robin, and Ellie again – think this was taken at the Olive Garden in Cedar Park, Texas.

A charming little town. One of the good memories!Robin was very close to her mother Alma.Robin always loved a decorated Christmas tree!Here is Robin at UT Health Center in Austin, Texas. She had just gotten bad news about her cancer but still had hope. I said something though that made her laugh. I don’t remember exactly what.
My dearest Robin, may God keep you until we are united again. I love you more than words can say.
