11:37

Now climbs the moon,
Veiled in clouds.
Attendant stars;
Nebulous fog;
Wind-blown branches
And Jupiter.
Woolen blanket
Enshrouds the sky.
A whole world contained,
In a black cat’s eye.

Michael Kennon

A poem my son Michael wrote years ago after a night of watching the sky with our telescope in the front yard. And yes, we have a black cat.
